Portage Lakes is a scenic lake community in southern Summit County, centered around a chain of interconnected lakes that attract both year-round residents and seasonal visitors. Many Portage Lakes properties are lakefront or near-lakefront homes that have been expanded or upgraded over the years. The area experiences the full range of Northeast Ohio weather threats, and sump pump protection during heavy rain events is a top priority for many Portage Lakes homeowners. Backup Power Solutions installs Generac, Kohler, and Cummins standby generators throughout Portage Lakes and surrounding southern Summit County communities.
We serve Portage Lakes, Coventry Township, Green, and surrounding southern Summit County communities. Our technicians handle all Summit County Building Department permits and FirstEnergy (Ohio Edison) interconnection paperwork from start to finish.
Portage Lakes' lakefront properties are particularly vulnerable to sump pump failure during heavy rain events. A standby generator ensures your sump pump never stops running during an outage. We factor sump pump load into every generator sizing calculation at no extra charge.
